When asked what Joanne’s House (JH) does, Tammy Tully, child and youth worker, puts it simply: “Whatever a youth needs, we make sure we get it for them.”
That starts off with one of their 13 beds for youth aged 16 to 24 who often have nowhere else to go. They may have been kicked out of their homes, have addiction or other mental health issues, or be seeking a safe, supportive place to stay.
